Stress and Anger Management

Stress: Most teenagers are familiar with stress. In medical terms stress is defined as perturbation of the body's homeostasis. This demands on mind-body occurs when it tries to cope with incessant changes in life.

At one point or the other everybody suffers from stress. When stress builds up, alot of people can't deal with it. They begin to feel that their problems are too hard for them to solve. Some may even think about suicide.

Suicide attempts among American teenagers now run as high as 1400 a day. Suicide is the second major cause of teenage deaths. There are many things that causes stress and here are a few: mental and emotional problems, work, school, and problems in relationships. Worry about money or poor health are other causes. There are three stages of stress. As soon as you recognize a stressor, your body reacts. This quick physical warning is the alarm stage. The second stage of stress starts when your body fights or flees. When your body works against the stress, it is at the resistance stage.

If stress last to long, you may move into the third stage of stress. The the exhaustion stage, the body defences against stress are used up. If you don't seek help, stress can lead to depression and depression can lead to suicide.

Read Stress Management by Daley Positive Personal Development: This book is a good way on learning how to avoid stress, the causes or stress, and the warning signs of stress.

Anger:Understanding your emotions of feelings is importand to your mental health. Emotions are the strong, immediate reactions that you feel in response to an experience. One of those emotions is anger. Anger is a strong feeling of displeasure. I ranges from annoyance to complete fury. It often causes a physical reaction. Anger may take different forms. Sometimes people feel angry out of frustration. You feel frustrated when things are not the you would like. Hostility is another feeling of displeasure. Some hostile people may make nasty comments and they may seem unkind.

The real problem in this world is not anger, it's our mismanagement of anger. Mismanage anger and rage is the major cause or conflict in our personal and professional relationship. Your anger is your own response to a situation. Anger can be handled in a constuctive. If you don't handle it in the right way ii can be harmful to yourself and to your family.
